The new textile fibres

Amanda Seyfried, hit the red carpet of her new movie “Gringo” in H&M dress! The premier took place in Los Angeles and the guests was also impressed by the dress of the star! She wore a dress by H&M, special collection, made from the newly developed textile material “Econyl”. The sleeveless gown is made from Econyl®, a regenerated fibre created from fishing nets and other nylon waste, which is also one of the new materials used in the Conscious Exclusive collection, due to arrive in selected stores and online starting 19 April. The first time, when we start to here for Econyl was in 2015 , started a project with collaboration of Spanish brand Ternua and OPEGUI, Guipuzcoa Inshore Fish Producers Organization. The aim was to recover spent fishing nets of fisherman’s guilds of the Basque cities of Bermeo, Getaria and Hondarribia in Spain.

We think the “fast fashion” will be “fashionable” in the next years! We’re going to see more and more stars in dresses from Zara, H&M and another “fast fashion brands”, which long term bisiness plans includes “going green”. They make big investments on so called “green fashion”!
